SmartControl™ sensor technology allows hatchery climate control in the most efficient way, for the highest number of best quality chicks. Designed to ensure the reliable central monitoring and automatic control of air temperature, air pressure, CO2 and humidity in any hatchery room, the SmartControl™ module makes climate information accessible from a single platform. All the data is stored to ensure that there is a complete climate-history record for the entire process. Having the ability to monitor, analyse and control all room climate data in real-time and on one platform ensures an optimal, healthy hatchery climate at every stage of operation.
The air handling unit (AHU) is a central air conditioning station that conditions air supplied into the hatchery building by ventilation ductwork connected to the AHU. Air that has been conditioned by the AHU is delivered into hatchery rooms with thermo-hygrometric and IAQ (Indoor Air Quality) treatment.
In a modular design with separated fan, filter, cooling, heating and heat recovery blocks, the air handling unit treats external, incoming air by filtering, cooling and/or heating, humidifying and/or dehumidifying. The unit includes a frequency controlled high pressure centrifugal fan, quick release filters and an electronic switch box with Siemens Synco 700 regulator, for the control of temperature, humidity and pressure in a range of heating and cooling options.
High efficiency A+ energy labelling due to IE2 motors and a variable frequency drive ensure low operational costs. Units are easy to maintain, silent in operation and can be installed both side by side or on top of each other to minimise footprint.
Washing and waste handling
Compact washing machine with pivoting spray nozzles, specifically designed for effectively cleaning hatcher baskets with moderate pollution. Incorporating separate main wash and after-rinse sections, the hatcher basket washer heats circulation water internally for the main wash cycle, which is continuously filtered by a unique filter system. Fresh water rinsing completes the cycle in a separate zone of the machine.
Re-used rinse water continuously renews the contents of the wash tank, in an energy efficient process that combines maximum wash action with minimal consumption of water, energy and chemicals.
Chick take-off system
Ergonomically designed, Pas Reform’s take-off system provides good, comfortable access for up to eight operators to transfer chicks manually from hatcher baskets to an integrated discharge conveyor. Designed with optimum hygiene in mind, the high quality stainless steel design is easily cleaned while the roller conveyor ensures the smooth transportation of full hatcher baskets. Available in two sizes, for 4 or 8 operators.
Candling and transfer
Semi-automatically transferring eggs from setter tray to hatcher basket improves operator speed, efficiency and performance. The quick coupling suction head allows for an easy changeover to other tray types, while the semi-automated egg transfer system emits low sound levels for quiet running and is easy to clean.
With a capacity of up to 50,000 eggs per hour, this system is easily combined with automatic candling and take-out machines. Four wheels for stability and easy manoeuvrability. A useful back-up for automatic transfer systems.
Designed to cradle hatching eggs of any size safely, SmartTray’s™ open construction is proven to deliver uniform airflow during incubation. This helps to create an optimal environment for the growing embryos, promoting ducklings of the highest quality.
A lightweight, gentle, reliable tool for the semi-automatic transfer of eggs from pulp tray to setter tray, the vacuum egg lifter eliminates the risk of damage to the eggs.
Constructed out of clear plastic to give complete visibility from handle to cup, there are no projecting studs, depressions or mismatched welds or joints in which dirt can accumulate. The unit can be fitted with a variety of standard egg lifters and is available for matrix and honeycomb structured setter trays. Unit consists of vacuum pump with 1 or 2 vacuum heads.
